Students of the Faculty of Education on a field visit to Hurghada

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, the Department of Geography at the Faculty of Education conducted the field study scheduled for the second, third and fourth teams of the Department of Geography, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Salam, head of the geography department.

         
   
         

The visit included the beginning of the Red Sea coast from Hurghada to Safaga. On the first day, stops were made on the road to study as follows:

         
   
         

(Al-Zafarana station for generating electric power from winds, Jabal Al-Zayt station for generating electrical energy from winds, Al-Jalala plateau (wadis, streams, wildfire cones, rejuvenation points, Questa, desert varnishes and Bahada) (Phenomena associated with the coast (bays, heads, tongues and sea barriers). (Sabkhat and domes). Salt and mud fissures, and their associated geomorphological phenomena. Landscaping and natural vegetation and their classification according to different environments. Isolated hills)

         
   
         

The mentioned natural phenomena were studied in the field using field study devices.

A seminar was held to show what was done along the road from Ain Sukhna to Hurghada
