Carbon footprint and the impact of climate change on biodiversity... A seminar at the Institute of Graduate Studies and Agricultural Research for Arid lands

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Osama El-Behairy, Dean of the Institute of Graduate Studies and Agricultural Research for Arid Regions, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Abu Hadid, the former Minister of Agriculture, organized the Institute of Graduate Studies and Agricultural Research for Arid Zones at Ain Shams University

A seminar entitled "Carbon footprint and the impact of climate change on biodiversity", during which Prof. Dr. Heba Salah Hamed, Assistant Professor of Fish Physiology, Faculty of Girls for Arts, Sciences and Education, Ain Shams University, and trainer in the Egyptian and African Climate Ambassadors Program, gave lecture on Tuesday 5/4/2022.

Dr. Heba Salah talked about the concept of biodiversity and its types, the causes of climate change, its impact on humans, biodiversity and fisheries, what is the carbon footprint, how to calculate the carbon footprint of the individual, the impact of the carbon footprint of the individual on climate change, and proposed solutions to reduce the impact of climate change on humans’ biodiversity and reducing carbon emissions in Egypt.
