The International Relations Office at the university launches the electronic platform for agreements and the interactive page with international partners

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, the International Relations Office which is one of the departments of the International Cooperation and Academic Cooperation Sector, launched the electronic platform for international agreements, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Service Affairs Society and Environmental Development and the Executive Director of the Sector at Ain Shams University - and the administration of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Director of the International Relations Office and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, launched the electronic platform for international agreements.

The platform allows faculty staff and the university’s teaching assistants to see all the agreements and cooperation protocols at the university level for faculties, institutes, and research centers, as this enriches the inter-cooperation between the university entities and ensures the mutual benefit of the agreements.

The platform aims to digitize and preserve agreements electronically and to make available and share international cooperation information at the university level with the faculty staff and the teaching assistants, which establishes concepts and instills the importance of a culture of international cooperation and its importance in the strategic plan of the university administration and allows faculty staff to make the most of the Agreements and cooperation protocols, which will have a positive impact on stimulating joint international publication with colleagues from the strategic partners of the university from abroad, and faculty members will be able to make practical and scientific contributions based on the information available through the current database and build and develop on it.

The platform provides basic information about agreements and cooperation protocols, the date of their signing, data, and points of contact with the partner university through search engines, the desired data can be easily accessed, either by periods and dates, the name of the university, or the country to which the university belongs abroad.

It is also worth noting that during the establishment of the platform, the International Relations Office began to pay attention to classifying the agreements according to the sustainable development goals of the United Nations, which the axes of the agreement feed into and are nourished by.

the International Relations Office website also provides a link through which a partnership request with Ain Shams University can be requested, where a form of the agreement, purpose, and basic data can be uploaded and sent electronically as soon as it is uploaded via the interactive website, and this interactive website is the first of its kind at the level of Egyptian universities.
