Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, honored the students of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, for winning second place at the level of the Middle East in the Oxford Moot Court competition, the honor was witnessed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Professor at the Faculty of Law.
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Metini expressed his great happiness for the students of the Faculty of Law winning this competition, and he also thanked the Dean of the Faculty and Dr. Ahmed Khalifa for their keenness to think outside the box by participating in such international competitions.
He pointed out that the next stage needs graduates who are fully aware of international legislation and laws, he also recommended that students write down their recommendations for the competition because this will benefit the faculty later, stressing that the university will continue to support its students.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud congratulated the students, and also recommended that they communicate with subsequent generations to benefit from their important and necessary experiences to raise the educational level of students.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi expressed his thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, for their continuous support for all programs and activities of the Faculty of Law, and for the professor and students at the faculty.
He also thanked and appreciated the students who won the competition, and stressed that the faculty is working to qualify its students to travel to the universities that cooperate with the faculty to provide students with more experiences for the benefit of the faculty students.
It is noteworthy that the honored students are Coach Rawan Abdullah, graduates of the Faculty of Law, English Division, student Salma Rushdi Ahmed, fourth year of the Faculty of Law, English Division, student Asmaa Mohamed El Desouki, fourth class, English Division, student Reem Osama El Shazly, fourth class, English Division, and student Mirna Hassan Ghobashi, third class, English Division, as the contestants won second place at the Middle East level in the Oxford Moot Competition.
The student, Asmaa Mohamed El-Desouky, won second place in the same competition for the best pleading.
