Yesterday, the activities of the IELTS qualification workshop closed in the Faculty of Education

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Research, the Scholarships Welfare Office, Ain Shams University, concluded yesterday the activities of the "Qualification for IELTS Test" workshop, which was held at the headquarters of the Faculty of Education - Ain Shams University in cooperation with the British Council IELTS

         
   
         

The workshop comes within the training programs offered by the University’s Scholarships Welfare Office within the framework of qualifying the faculty staff and their assistants at the university for international representation at all levels of education and scientific research, and to enhance the role of the graduate studies and research sector in developing the skills of students and researchers and upgrading the language and research skills that allow graduates to study and conduct research In the world's largest universities

The workshop was held yesterday under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Rashad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hanan Helmy Latif, Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty, and Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the Scholarships Welfare Office at the university, the workshop was attended by a large number of graduate students, faculty staff and the teaching assistants in the faculties of Education, Science, and the Faculty of Business, in addition to a number of attendees from other universities and bodies such as Cairo, Mansoura, Zagazig, and the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences.

         
   
         

The workshop lasted for 4 consecutive hours, during which Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the Scholarships Welfare Office, Mr. Samer Fadel, Director of Business Development at the British Cultural Center, and Dr. Osama Al-Baili, IELTS trainer and expert at the British Council, gave a lecture.

The workshop began with a lecture by Dr. Abdullah Sami, during which he talked about the Scholarships Welfare Office and the services it provides to the faculty staff and the teaching assistants in the faculties of Ain Shams University, then Mr. Samer Fadel presented an introduction to the IELTS test, universities and institutions that accept the test around the world, the services provided by the Cultural Council British Examination, Standards and how to apply for the test, and Exam locations in Egypt. In the end, Dr. Osama Al-Baili a detailed explanation of the exam preparation strategies in its four parts, a review of the different types of questions in the exam, with a detailed training presentation for the attendees during the sessions of the different parts of the exam
