Prof. Dr. Khalid Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, announced that the Faculty of Commerce won the Deloitte competition, which was held today at Cairo University. Where Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Finance Professor and Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, said that the Faculty won the first place on the American University teams, the German university, Cairo University, and Helwan University.
She explained that the team of the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University included the students of the fourth division in the language department, Mena Al-Bair Edward, Mena Karam Yousef, Mena Osama Saad, Dina Abdel Aziz Ali, Rana Hassan Nasr, Hager Yasser Ismail, Ahmed Sabry Zeidan, Islam Amr Mohamed, Kirlos Victor Mounir, Salvana, Magdi Shafik and Yara Mohammed Hussein.
Dr. Khalid pointed out that Deloitte was founded in 1845 and is one of the top four professional service companies in the world, namely Price Waterhouse, Ernst & Young and KPMG. Deloitte provides audit, tax and financial advisory services, with more than 244,400 employees worldwide and Deloitte's $ 36.8 billion at the end of fiscal year 2016.
Deloitte was ranked number one in terms of market share in consulting by Gartner, and in 2016 Fortune Deloitte was considered one of the top 100 companies in the world.
Dr. Khalid congratulated the winning students and thanked Dr. Zakaria Farid, Dr. Neven Hussam, as well as the assistants Mustafa Talaat and Osama Samy for their efforts with the team.
