Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, received a high-level Emirati delegation that included Sheikh Dr. Ammar bin Nasser Al-Mualla, attaché for education and technology sciences, and Dr. Iman Al-Hosani, technical attaché at the attaché of education and technology sciences, at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Cairo, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Sherwat Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Immigrants Department, Prof. Mona Abdel-Aal, Director of the University Education Development Department, Dr. Islam Hegazy, Director of the Network and Information Technology Center at the university, Dr. Reham Attia, Director of the Central Unit for Measurement and Evaluation, and Dr. Magdy Shaaban, Director of the Electronic Test Center.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the two sides in establishing a center for the Emirates Standard Test EmSat in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which is a set of standard electronic tests based on the UAE national standards for measuring and evaluating performance and skills for teachers and students, and this comes within the framework of joint cooperation between the Ministry of Education in the UAE and higher education institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Also, during the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two sides, exchanging experiences in the fields of education and opening areas of joint cooperation in many fields, as well as reassurance about the conditions of Emirati students studying at Ain Shams University at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of the University, welcomed the joint cooperation, stressing the depth of relations between the two countries, and reviewed the available opportunities and new programs at the university, and promised to provide all the necessary facilities for Emirati students studying at the university in its various faculties.
For their part, the participants in the delegation expressed their aspiration to cooperate with Ain Shams University, as it is one of the largest universities in Egypt and the Arab world, which enjoys a prestigious reputation and distinguished educational services. The participants in the delegation also valued the role of Ain Shams University in supporting relations between the two countries in the educational sector.
