Yesterday, the Department of Maternal and Newborn Health Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Ain Shams University organized its annual scientific conference entitled "Nursing and Women's Health Care during the Covid-19 Pandemic (Challenges and Modern Prospects)", under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Sahar Moussa, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Seham Gerges, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Randa Mohamed Ibrahim, President of the Conference and Head of the Department of Maternity and Gynecology Nursing, and coordinated by Prof. M. Dr. Amal Fathi, Secretary General of the Conference, and Prof. M. Dr. Amira Musa, and Prof. Dr. Loyalty Fathi Conference rapporteurs.
Prof. Dr. Sahar Mousa, Dean of the Faculty, said that the conference aims to enhance the role of evidence-based practices in the field of maternity nursing and gynecology, in addition to discussing modern education strategies in this field, as well as improving the maternity nursing profession in light of scientific development, and finally discussing the challenges facing scientific development in the field.
Prof. Dr. Sahar Mousa indicated that the conference will include several axes, such as the impact of scientific development on improving the profession of maternal and newborn health nursing during the Corona pandemic, in addition to discussing modern education strategies in the field of maternal and newborn health nursing during the Corona pandemic, clarifying the challenges facing scientific development in this field and discussing Evidence-based practices in maternal and newborn health nursing and women's aspirations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
