Ain Shams University honored the winners of the International Chinese Language Bridge Competition

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel Sayed, Professor in the Department of Chinese Language and Director of the Confucius Institute, honored the winners of the Chinese Language Bridge Competition, and Ain Shams University won first and third place in the competition organized by the Confucius Institute in cooperation with the Educational Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China In Cairo, in which all Egyptian universities participated, and it is the competition that qualifies to participate in the international competition in China, which is contested by many contestants from different countries of the world who love the Chinese language. The winners have a great chance to benefit from many scholarships and privileges to study in China.

         
   
         

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini expressed his congratulations and happiness for the winning students, and stressed his continued support for the Confucius Institute and the Chinese Language Department at the Faculty ofAl-Alsun

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. El-Metini honored the winners of the competition in its 21st session, namely the student Aseel Ahmed Yousry, who won the first place from the Confucius Institute, Ain Shams University, and the student Nada Ahmed Ali, who won the third place. Dr. Mai Al-Sayed Al-Banna, the teacher in the Chinese language department and the trainer of the student Nada was also honored. Professor Dong Xiao Ming was also honored for training student Aseel.

Also Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel Sayed, the supervisor of the team participating in the competition and the director of the Institute, was honored for the great effort she made to reach the participants from Ain Shams University to obtain the first places at the level of Egyptian universities, as well as for the effort made in organizing and coordinating the competition in its 21st session.
