Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, at the International Conference Center in Sharm El-Sheikh, witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and the Islamic Development Bank. This came on the sidelines of the 47th session of the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group for the year 2022, which is held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
The signing was also attended by Dr. Muhammad Al-Gasser, President of the Islamic Development Bank Group, and Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Governor of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank Group.
The memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of Ain Shams University by Prof. Dr. Tamer Emara, Director of Scientific and International Relations at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, on behalf of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University.
Prof. Dr. Tamer Emara explained that the goal of the agreement is to develop health services in the Islamic Bank countries so that Ain Shams University becomes a center for developing health services in those countries using modern technology such as telemedicine and distance education as a knowledge center that transfers its experiences to those countries.
