In response to the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi regarding the development of slums and building people in safe areas alternative to slums and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, is organizing the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Rotary Club - Mokattam, "Rotary Region 2451, Women Empowerment Committee", a seminar entitled "Raising a Happy Child" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Prof. Dr. Rasha Al-Didi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Professor of Psychology, and Dr. Somaya Sami Sabry, Assistant Professor in the English Department of the Faculty of Arts.
Prof. Dr. Rasha El-Deedy will lecture in the symposium, and Prof. Dr. Suhair Safwat, Professor of Sociology, Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University will participate, and the dialogue will be moderated by Dr. Somaya Sami Sabry. The symposium aims to educate the people of Al-Asmarat neighborhood about the optimal ways of raising a healthy and happy child, in light of the qualitative shift that aims to the people of Al-Asmarat neighborhood culturally and intellectually, on Thursday, 6/16/2022, in the Seminars Hall in the Youth City in Al-Asmarat neighborhood.
