The visit of the Faculty of Business to the Center for the Care of Children with Special Needs at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Childhood

The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculties of Commerce and Childhood Postgraduate Studies organized a "visit to the Children's Care Center with Special Needs of the Faculty of Childhood Postgraduate Studies", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Prof. Dr.. Howayda Al-Jabali, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, under the supervision and coordination of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Abdel Alim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal Abdel Raouf, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood for Community Service and Environmental Development, with the participation of a group of male and female students and employees of the Center for People with Special Abilities at the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hanan Hussein, Director of the Center for People with Special Abilities, Faculty of Commerce, Prof. Dr. Hoda Gamal, Head of the Department of Child Psychological Studies, Prof. Dr. Sameh Awad, Assistant Professor, Department of Media and Children's Culture, Dr. Lamis Makkawi is a teacher in the Department of Pediatric Medical Studies.

During the visit, an inspection tour was conducted at the Center for the Care of Children with Special Needs. Dr.. Howayda Al-Jabali, Dean of the Faculty and Prof. Dr.. Randa Kamal, Vice Dean of the Faculty, presented the services provided by the center and introduced the center's units.

         
   
         

During the tour, the students of the Faculty of Commerce distributed gifts and toys to the children who frequented the center to take the sessions.

The visit began at ten in the morning in the hall of the martyr Captain/ Islam Mashhour, on the fifth floor, in the presence of about (30) families of the children of the Center for Children with Special Needs.

Prof. Dr. Howayda El-Gebali, during her speech to Professor Dr. Mamdouh Abdel-Alim, thanked him for honoring his Excellency to provide aid to the children's families, and also thanked her Excellency Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal for coordinating this visit, she also recommended such visits to serve the children of the Child Care Center with Special Needs.

In her speech Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal welcomed the attendees, and made it clear that 30 families of the center's children were selected because she knew that these children take more than one rehabilitation session during the week and that this is a burden on the family, and there are families who have been selected for more than one child of determination.

Noting that this type of activity opens the way to create a link between the Center for People with Special Needs and the other faculties of Ain Shams University, and stressed that the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the faculty will do its utmost to support the families and children of the Center for Children with Special Needs and provide services and assistance to them and advice through seminars and workshops held by the sector.

         
   
         

It was pointed out by Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Abdel-Alim in his speech that he is honored to provide aid and donations to the families of the children of the center and that it is part of the support that the sector plays through the service and development role played by the Center for People with Special Abilities at the Faculty of Business.

Accordingly, His Eminence brought gifts, toys, food commodities, money and packaged sweets, and with the accompanying team, distributed them to the children and their families.

In the end, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Abdel Alim met with Prof. Dr. Randa Kamal in her Excellency's office to discuss ways of cooperation between the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood and the Faculty of Business.
