The Faculty of Girls for Arts, Sciences and Education participated in the Innovative Products Exhibition, which was held on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of Ain Shams Innovates competition 2022.
Dr. Heba Abu Hashish, Dr. Kamelia Al-Zein, two teachers in the Department of Home Economics, participated with their innovative designs inspired by hand crochet, which are suitable for printing on different types of fabrics using digital design programs.
Assistant lecturer Marwa Al-Azzazi, in the Department of Biochemistry and Nutrition, introduced her innovative product of fenugreek extract, which laboratory studies have proven the ability of the extract as a powerful nutritional supplement compared to the alternatives currently on the market that reduce the symptoms of hyperactivity disease that a number of children suffer from.
The student / Shorouk Lotfi Ibrahim, a first-level student in the physics program, also participated in a developed model of windmills, the model works at the lowest air speeds to generate electrical energy and works to protect the environment and preserve the safety of migratory birds.
Artistic creativity also had its share of participating in the exhibition. The students: Fatima Mahmoud (third year - Arabic language), Amira Hussein (third year-psychology) and Zainab Osama (third year - Arabic language) participated in a number of artistic drawings under the supervision of Dr. Atef Maharik, teacher, Department of Child Education.
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, a. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Behairi, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the university, and the supervision of Dr. Aya Radi, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit at the Faculty.
The exhibition was attended by the President of the University, the Vice deans, the Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Gaber Taye, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, a number of deans of faculties at the university, public figures, faculty members, students and representatives of investment companies.
