The Faculty of Girls wins the first prize in the postgraduate path of Ain Shams Innovate competition 2022

Dr. Nourhan Nabil, a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Girls, won the first place in the postgraduate course of Ain Shams Innovates competition 2022 (Engineering Sector - implement your idea) for her project "EG polymers", which aims to produce safe and environmentally friendly alternatives to the cement consumed in the market, using industrial waste and recycle it.

   
   

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Behairi, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the university, and the supervision of Dr. Aya Radi, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit at the Faculty.

It is worth noting that the Ain Shams Innovate competition comes within the framework of Ain Shams University's interest in supporting the innovation and entrepreneurship system and supporting student activities, which are in line with the State's Plan for Sustainable Development 2030, which emphasizes the importance of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship and their use to link the educational and research process.
