Within the framework of the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s strategy towards enhancing scientific and research cooperation with all state educational and scientific institutions in a way that contributes to the advancement and advancement of the civil aviation sector, Pilot Mohamed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Holding Company for EgyptAir and Ain Shams University.
The protocol was signed by Pilot Amr Aboul-Enein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for EgyptAir, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University.
The protocol signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and from EgyptAir, Pilot Hassan Mounir, Assistant President of the Holding Company for Egypt. to fly and pilot Amr Nabil, president of EgyptAir Airlines, and pilot Mohamed Moussa, assistant president of the airline, and Mohamed Farhat, head of the commercial sector.
Following the signing ceremony, pilot Amr Abul-Enein expressed his happiness at signing the protocol, which combines the legacy of the national company EgyptAir and Ain Shams University, one of the leading universities in Egypt, where a history of fruitful cooperation extends between them. This is done by the National Company in light of the Ministry of Aviation's strategy towards enhancing aspects of cooperation with educational and scientific institutions and providing all the necessary facilities for these institutions.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the attendance of Pilot Mohamed Manar, Minister of Civil Aviation, the protocol signing ceremony, praising the efforts and role played by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in promoting the Egyptian air transport system. Prof. Dr. El-Metini praised the fruitful cooperation with Egypt Air, stressing his confidence in the capabilities and cadres owned by the National Company in a way that enhances this cooperation with it. The president of the university also thanked Egypt Air for the warm reception, adding that the university has many scientific and theoretical capabilities as well as training courses in all scientific disciplines of various fields to serve all the institutions of the Egyptian state.
The cooperation protocol includes the role of the national company, Egypt Air, as the official carrier for external trips organized by Ain Shams University, as well as Egypt Air’s sponsorship of student initiatives carried out by the university, whether inside or outside Egypt, in addition to the company’s sponsorship of seminars and all scientific meetings organized by the university for students, while the protocol also includes The National Company benefited from the scientific expertise and training courses of Ain Shams University in qualifying the company’s cadres and developing their scientific capabilities and competencies to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market in the aviation sector.
