The electronic halls at the Faculty of Al-Alsun are ready for the IELTS test of the British Council in Cairo

The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University hosted the first official IELTS test organized by the British Council in Cairo, for 53 examinees, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the College, coordinated by Dr. Hanan Al-Saeed, Director of Blended Education at the university, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and in the presence of the work team of the Cultural Council and the assistant team, and Dr. Islam Hegazy, Director of the Network and Information Technology Center at the university and the Information Technology Unit at the Faculty of Al-Alsun under the leadership of Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Fattah.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the College, explained that an electronic exam was held in the new electronic Faculty halls that can accommodate 760 students, and the last paper was held in the new study halls of the college, noting that the preparation for the exams started from six thirty in the morning, where the exam started from nine in the morning and extended until six in the evening.

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the College, said that the university administration headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, who provided all the needs for the development and modernization of the college's infrastructure according to the highest standards of international educational quality, pointing to the role of the new classrooms and the importance of establishing the college's electronic examination center in developing the educational process and raising the efficiency of the educational capabilities available to Egyptian and foreign students.

Dr. Hanan Al-Saeed also indicated that according to the cooperation agreement concluded between the British Council and Ain Shams University, Al-Alsun was accredited as a center and headquarters for registration for the exam and for holding qualifying courses to develop English language skills in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

   
   

In light of the development and leadership that Ain Shams University is witnessing in all fields, the British Council announced on its Facebook page that Ain Shams University joined to be one of the approved centers to perform the IELTS test in Egypt, and the British Council praised Ain Shams University and Al-Alsun as one of the oldest and most famous The most prestigious colleges in the region.

It is worth noting that the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University had previously hosted members of the British Council in Cairo to conduct experimental tests to determine the readiness of the halls and all the procedures approved by the British Council in Cairo to hold its exams.
