Higher Education: Reappointment of Taye Abdel Latif as a student activities advisor

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, issued a decision renewing the appointment of Dr. Taya Abdel Latif, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, to work as an advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for student activities, for the sixth year in a row.

It is worth noting that Dr. Taye held several positions in the same field, including: Vice-Dean of the Institute for Leadership Development in Helwan until 2007, then Director of the Institute for Leadership Development in Arish 2007-2008, and Adviser to the Vice President of Ain Shams University for Student Activities and University Cities, and then General Supervisor of the Institute for Leadership Development. He also represented the Ministry of Higher Education in signing cooperation protocols with ministries, institutions, military and civil academies, and public and private universities.

He has also created many simulation models in universities, and chaired the Supreme Committee for the supervision and follow-up of the student union elections in Egyptian universities and institutes since 2017 until now, as well as being the rapporteur of the Higher Committee for Student Activities, in addition to being the rapporteur of the Executive Committee of the “Mawaddah” presidential initiative and many positions and activities in cooperation with civil and civil work associations in the field of sustainable development and the environment, membership of the boards of directors of the National Fund and Youth in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the General Union of Scouts and Guides, member of the Supreme Committee for Scout Activities in the Republic, member of the Central Committee of the “Stand With Us” initiative, the Supreme Committee for the Gifted, and membership of the Education Committee of the National Council For women, a former member of the Youth Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, in addition to the central committees supervising the republic’s youth weeks in Egyptian universities and a representative of the Ministry of Higher Education in the strategic plan for developing awareness and belonging, the strategic plan for youth and youth at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and membership in the councils of specific education faculties in some universities.
