The Board of Trustees of Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd University Award holds its first meeting at Ain Shams University

The Board of Trustees of the Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd University Award for the Best Scientific Production held their first meeting on Monday, July 25, at the headquarters of Ain Shams University in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, headed by University President Dr. For the Federation of Arab Universities, Dr. Adnan Badran, former Prime Minister of Jordan, Dr. Muhammad Awad Tag Al-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Egypt for Health and Preventive Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Dr. Jawaher Al-Mudhaki, President of the University of Bahrain.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Ansari welcomed the members of the Board of Trustees, while the Board discussed the approval of the basic system of the award, in addition to approving the official logo, the conditions for progress and the topics of the award. The Board also discussed the estimated budget for the award for the first year and setting the date for launching the award, whose total prizes amount to 250 thousand dollars, for universities. This award is one of the initiatives of Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University at the level of the Arab world, which was launched during the 53rd PUIC Conference. regional and global level; In addition to promoting the culture of scientific research, encouraging publication in scientific journals, and creating a spirit of scientific competition among researchers in general.

For his part, the President of the Council, President of Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University, Dr. Issa bin Hassan Al-Ansari, thanked the award’s trustees for attending this meeting. He also thanked the Association of Arab Universities and Ain Shams University in the Arab Republic of Egypt for hosting the first meeting of the Award’s Board of Trustees, explaining that the award’s board of trustees was formed. The members of the Council consist of a number of prominent and respected scientific personalities in the Arab world, who had a prominent role in enriching scientific research, which will contribute to strengthening the role of the award and motivating researchers and encouraging them to carry out serious and discreet research, which contributes to creating a spirit of honest competition among researchers.

         
   
         

Dr. Al-Ansari explained that the launch of this award comes within the framework of the university's societal and scientific responsibility and an affirmation of its prominent role in contributing to the enrichment of scientific research, advancing its progress and prosperity, and encouraging researchers in the Arab world to continue more distinguished scientific research.
