Fulbright Egypt reviews the academic career of Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the Scholarships Welfare Office at the university

Dr. Abdullah Sami has conducted research of great importance in topics related to diseases and health economics, which contribute to the fields of environment, epidemiology, public health, and global health.

         
   
         

Upon completion of the Fulbright Program at the University of Kansas, he established an international research group between Ain Shams University and international research institutions, including the Kansas Institute of Biodiversity of the University of Kansas and the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the same university, and other universities around the world. In addition, Dr. Sami is the editor of the virus sector for the international journal PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases after holding one of the positions of assistant editor-in-chief at the same journal.

In 2014, he was awarded the 2014 Young Researchers Award by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Health.
