New study programs at the Faculty of Archeology

The Faculty of Archeology at Ain Shams University is presented under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, provides an educational service that is the best in Egypt through 8 distinguished study programs, which have been completely designed based on international standards. The Faculty offers summer training in museums and archaeological sites to provide greater opportunities to qualify its students for the local and international labor market.

The Faculty has the honor to receive high school students or their equivalent from Egyptians and expatriates to enroll in the distinguished programs (special with fees) that will start studying for the first time during the academic year 2022-2023, which are:

Architectural Heritage Restoration and Conservation Program (a program with the Faculty of Engineering)

Archaeological and Heritage Information Systems Program (Internet Program with the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences)

Bioarcheology Program (A program with the Faculty of Science)

In addition to the previous programs that began studying during the academic year 2021-2022 AD, they are:

1- Archeology and Excavation

2- Museum and Archaeological Site Management
