Announcing the results of graduate studies at the Faculty of Business on UMS system

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, announced that the results of the academic postgraduate examinations, the May 2022 round, appeared on the university's electronic system UMS for the first time.

Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty, said that the university’s electronic system UMS enables the student to view the results and estimates of each course separately, as well as enable him to perform all university procedures and other services that the student may obtain from the Faculty without the need to attend the Faculty headquarters, within the framework of Ain Shams University is geared towards digital and fourth generation universities.

         
   
         

He also thanked the senior management of Ain Shams University for all the support it provides to all faculties, especially the Faculty of Business.

Regarding the success rates during this year, His Excellency added that the average success rate for all academic graduate programs is 70.6%, represented by 77.9%, the success rate in the Pre-Doctoral Program, 62.7% in the Pre-Masters programme, and the success rate at the higher academic diplomas degree is 71.6%.

Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, stated that the results of the academic postgraduate students in all programs have been announced. The results, stressing that the college works in accordance with the system of controls included in the UMS (University Management System) system to keep pace with the developments of the current and future stage, in a manner that guarantees the highest standards of accuracy and speed in preparing and showing results in all transparency and ease and in accordance with the nature of each study system.

An indicative file was also designed to explain to students the mechanism for submitting petitions electronically through the website of the university's electronic system UMS, where it was announced that the door for petitions for the results of the May 2022 exams will be opened during the period from 9 to 18 August.

Dr. Hayam pointed out that the sector is intensifying its preparations for the start of the new academic year 2022/2023 in terms of announcing the opening dates for admission to academic and professional postgraduate programs, which are scheduled to start at the end of this August, as well as preparing for written and oral exams for applicants to the master’s and doctoral stages.
