Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, opened the annual conference of the Department of Physics, which included many events and honors. Dr. Hazem Rashid, for the distinguished efforts of the Physics Department in accomplishing tasks, as well as research excellence.
During the speech of Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Rashad, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, pointed out the distinguished aspects of the department in the field of graduate studies.
Prof. Dr. Safaa Shehata, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, made efforts for program accreditation and the efforts of faculty staff in this field.
Prof. Dr. Radwan Hammouda, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, pointed out the integration of the physics department and its distinction in all fields. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Bakheet, Dean of the Faculty of Education, October 6 University, and a faculty member in the department emphasized the outstanding cooperation of the faculty members in the department, which affects the quality of performance in the educational process.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Fathi Abdel Rahman, acting head of the department’s council, honored the audience, praising the department’s efforts in supporting students, scientific research and community service.
Also Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Abdel Halim, former head of the department’s council and vice-dean for community service and environmental development, highlighted the department’s achievements in the field of sponsoring student activities and its integration with the applied knowledge aspect of students, and pointed to excellence in international publishing statistics for faculty members from the department, as well as integration in services Societal and applied research in community service and environmental development.
A number of student shows were presented, including the graduates speech in which graduate Ibrahim Salama and student Hadeer Fathi participated, a dialogue with the self and student Asmaa Muhammad Fathi, and unforgettable situations presented by student Fatima Al-Zahra Mustafa, in which she emphasized the influential role of teachers in the lives of their students and guiding them along with the academic role and scientific, and student Muhammad Mukhtar recited poetry about success and its impact on student achievement.
Finally, the student Hadeer Muhammad Muhammad presented a paragraph in which she expressed the importance of science, knowledge and determination in achieving ambition, self-affirmation and competition.
Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid honored Prof. Dr. Radwan Hammouda, the former Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, for his great efforts during his tenure. He also honored Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Abdel Halim Mohamed Farag, former head of the department’s council, for his distinguished efforts, and also honored Prof. Dr. Karam Fattah, acting head of the department’s council.
The recipients of the title of the best 2% of the world's scientists, according to the Stanford University classification, were also honored from the members of the Physics Department, who are Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Nahhas, Dr. Suzan Mohamed Salah El-Din and Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Abdel-Halim Mohamed Farag, also honored the recipients of the highest international publication rate, as well as those who obtained the highest international publication of a doctoral thesis.
He honored the faculty members who had reached the age of retirement for their distinguished career, and honored all the recipients of the Ain Shams awards from the department, as well as those who received promotions during this year, in addition to the distinguished and pioneering work, as well as honoring the trainers accredited by the UNESCO Office and the Adult Education Center at the university.
The head of the research laboratory in the department, Prof. Dr. Helmy Taha Al-Shaer, honored the distinguished giving of Prof. Dr. Safaa Abdel-Fattah Shalaby, and also honored the outstanding students from the department, workers and distinguished employees.
