The Vice President for Education and Students visits the coordination laboratories at the Faculty of Arts and the coordination laboratory for people with special abilities

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted an inspection tour to follow up the progress of work on the first day of opening the first phase of electronic coordination in the laboratories of the Faculty of Arts, during which he was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Acting Dean of the Faculty. The tour included the coordination lab in the Faculty and the coordination lab for people with special abilities at the Vision Center, which was allocated by the university this year for the first time to serve students with determination who obtained the Egyptian secondary certificate.

During his tour, reassure Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud is one of the students who frequent the coordination labs and their families to facilitate all procedures and provide advice and adequate explanation of all application steps by a trained administrative staff to answer all questions regarding the use of the site and the correct method for registering desires, as well as the quality of the Internet and printing desires after completing their registration.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saoud inspected the electronic coordination work in the laboratory for people with special abilities, which was allocated by the university for the first time to receive students with determination, and its headquarters is located in the Vision Center at the Faculty of Arts, as it contains 60 computers with Internet and printers, as well as allocating places to wait for parents and escorts, pointing out that Ain University Shams has allocated 14 laboratories to receive coordination work in five faculties of arts, computers and information, engineering, agriculture, and girls, in addition to hosting the university for the third year in a row for the Central Coordination Office of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Prof. Hanan Kamel, Acting Dean of the College and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, confirmed that the college is in coordination with the university administration under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, has provided computer laboratories, which amount to 3 laboratories, with a capacity of 90 computers with Internet service and printing machines, and students are distributed to them while providing social distancing in order to ensure the safety of all, as the service is provided by from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm from today until Monday of this month.

   
   

She indicated that the instructions and guidelines related to the conditions of the stage were placed on the college's screens and billboards, in addition to providing a working team of 53 people under the supervision of the Information Technology Unit headed by Prof. Dr. Moawad Badawi, and the Geographical Systems Unit headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khader, and this team is trained to guide and guide students on how to deal with the website for coordination, the rules for selecting the wishes and the registration steps, all the way to the stage of printing the wishes form after registering it on the website.

She emphasized that this service is provided to students free of charge, and the college has been a pioneer in providing this service since 2008, and it is developed annually in line with technological development and digital transformation, and the number of students who benefit from this service is announced daily throughout the coordination days.
