In a festive atmosphere, the closing ceremony of the variety competition for music and choir was held at the theater of the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, where Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, attended the ceremony, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls, and Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Adviser to the Vice President for Student Activities and the Competition Jury, Dr. Marwa Abdel Moneim, teacher at the Department of Music Education, Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, and Dr. Samah Ezz Al-Arab teacher, Department of Music Education, Faculty of Specific Education and Prof. Dr. Osama Ali, Professor in the Department of Musical Sciences, Faculty of Music Education, Helwan University, and the Cairo Opera Troupe, and Prof. Dr. Emad Adel, Professor in the Performance Department, Arabic Singing Division, Faculty of Music Education, Helwan University, and the first soloist of the Cairo Opera Group, and Prof. Dr. Dalia Hussein, Head of the Music Education Department, Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ohoud Abdel Hamid, former Head of Performance Department, Arabic Singing Division, Faculty of Music Education, Helwan University.

         
   
         

During his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saoud expressed his pride and pride in his students, which increases with each competition and achievement, stressing that the university is the biggest winner of all the achievements of its students and guides to our beloved country a distinguished graduate in various fields who is intellectually balanced and capable of giving and creativity, pointing out that the success of the strategy of the education sector and students In increasing and expanding the base of student participation in various activities, which resulted in the intense emergence of distinguished and creative talents; In addition to the keenness of the sector management to provide the best professional trainers in all fields; In addition to developing the infrastructure and raising the efficiency of theaters, he noted the imminent opening of Mahmoud Odeh Theater in the General Administration of Youth Welfare, which was developed according to the latest international standards and under the supervision of experts from the Egyptian Opera House.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud said that the Orient Spirit Choir was chosen to commemorate the anniversary of the victories next October in front of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, expressing the university’s pride in this honorable assignment, stressing the importance of the students and graduates of Ain Shams University having a balanced personality in which science is integrated with culture, through Practicing the various student activities that the university abounds.

         
   
         

He also announced that all the winners would be granted a scholarship to study on the Trinity College London system as a reward to his winning children, a grant from the education and students sector through the Kayan Center at the Faculty of Specific Education, praising the efforts of the University's Youth Welfare Department under the supervision of Prof. Dr..Tamer Rady and appreciating their efforts in adopting and motivating student talents

The jury members also spoke about the competition and the technical level of the participating students. Marwa Abdel Moneim pointed to the distinction of male and female students and their real talents, stressing the importance of honing them with study.

Dr. Samah Ezz Al-Arab said that the evaluation and judging in the competition was difficult and accurate, in order to raise the level of students that reach professionalism.

   
   

Prof. Dr. Dalia Hussein pointed to the intensity of talents and outstanding capabilities of the teams, which qualifies them for international participation.

Dr. Ehood Abdul Hamid praised the singing voices and the spirit of teamwork for choirs, and added Prof. Dr. Emad Adel said that the real gain for all participants is to stand on stage and perform in front of an audience and a jury of specialists.

Prof. Dr. Osama stressed that all performances are no less creative than what is presented on international theaters, and that Ain Shams University is full of creative talents, not usual or repetitive talents.
