Leadership and Subordination… A workshop at the Faculty of Education

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Nevin Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Solidarity, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Saleh Hashem, Advisor to the Minister of Social Solidarity and General Coordinator of Solidarity Units in Universities, Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Din Abdel Halim Mohamed Farag, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Gehan Ragab, Adviser to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Coordinator of the Cooperation Protocol between Ain Shams University and the Ministry of Social Solidarity The Social Solidarity Unit at Ain Shams University and the Faculty of Education at the headquarters of the Faculty of Education organized a training workshop entitled How to be a successful leader? "Leadership and Subordination"

         
   
         

The workshop was implemented by Brigadier General Dr. Essam Abdullah Sayed, the lecturer at the Nasser Military Academy and the Military Academy, and used in the workshop many strategies of interaction, dialogue, brainstorming and problem solving in work groups. The workshop targeted students of Ain Shams University faculties in all disciplines.

The attendance was dense and the workshop showed a distinguished interaction of the students, who were divided into groups. The leader was simulated in many situations, leadership styles were identified, and practical applications of leadership behavior were implemented, in which the students participated in the form of groups and the real practice of the leader.

The workshop began with a general definition of the Solidarity Unit and its various tasks and activities through Ms. Reham Abdel Rahman, Coordinator of the Social Solidarity Unit at the university, and led the organization Mr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab, responsible for activities in the Solidarity Unit, as well as Ms. Esraa Maher, Protection and Economic Empowerment Officer.

The workshop was organized by the volunteer team at the University’s Social Solidarity Unit. All students participating in the training workshop expressed their full interaction with the workshop because of its importance in their future lives and the need to repeat this type of useful and motivating training workshops for students to ensure a brilliant future.

At the end of the workshop, everyone thanked the efforts of the Ministry of Solidarity and the Solidarity Unit at the university and the college's support for them in continuing excellence, work and continuous training for the sake of the advancement of Ain Shams University.
