The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research hosts a delegation of African students participating in the Climate Change Impact on Food Production initiative

The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at Ain Shams University hosted a delegation of African students accompanied by Prof. Dr. Salah Soliman, Professor of Chemical Pesticides and Poisons at Alexandria University, on the sidelines of their participation in the impact of climate change on food production in dry areas initiative hosted by Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Metini, President of the University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, in cooperation with the International Committee for the Development of Drylands (IDDC), the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), and the Institute of Graduate Studies for Arid Zones at Ain Shams University during the period from 3-5 September 2022 at El Mahalawy Coliseum At the Faculty of Medicine, this was stated by Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia, Dean of the Faculty and Dr. Alaa Sarhan, Vice Dean of Community Affairs and Environmental Development

She added that the delegation visited the Green Transformation Unit, accompanied by Dr. Hoda Helal, Unit Director and Shams Be Green Project, and Dr. Ahmed Maher, project manager.

The faculty's activities in the field of climate change and joint projects with African universities were also reviewed.
