a. Dr.. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, witnessed the introductory meeting organized by the Faculty of Archeology for new students for the academic year 2022/2023, to introduce them to the faculty’s various programs, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hossam Tantawi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archeology and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damaty, supervisor of the Department of Archeology and Excavations, former Minister of Antiquities and former Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, the supervisor of the Department of Museums and Archaeological Sites Management, and the former Minister of Antiquities, and a group of faculty professors, heads of departments, new students and their families.

         
   
         

The Faculty of Archeology at Ain Shams University provides an educational service that is the best in Egypt through 8 distinct study programs, which have been completely designed based on international standards. The faculty offers summer training in museums and archaeological sites to provide greater opportunities to qualify its students for the local and international labor market.

The faculty accepts high school students or its equivalent, Egyptians and expatriates, to enroll in the distinguished programs that start studying for the first time during the academic year 2022-2023, which are:

Architectural Heritage Restoration and Conservation Program (Program with the Faculty of Engineering)

Archaeological and Heritage Information Systems Program

Bioarchaeology Program
