The report pointed to the distinguished role of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank in helping the Egyptian universities magazines, raising some of them on the knowledge bank platform, holding specialized workshops for editors of local magazines to become internationally indexed magazines and experts from international publishing houses such as Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, Nature, Springer , Clarivate and others to upgrade these magazines to global reach.

The US-based Clarivate Association has agreed to include 36 local Egyptian magazines in Emerging Journals. Citations are being prepared for the development of an impact factor. Electronic publishing tools were used to meet the international standards of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank portal with the DOI provided for each article.
