University President to Al-Ahram Newspaper: The university cities sector is ready to receive male and female students for the new academic year

Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, confirmed that a pre-plan for the housing process for male and female students has been developed in regular and successive stages in implementation of the precautionary measures, pointing out that the comprehensive maintenance work for buildings and public facilities has been completed.

El-Meteini added that the supervisory crews were trained and directed to deal with the student under the conditions of the Corona virus, and they were stressed on the need to adhere to the precautionary measures and full commitment to wearing masks and using sterilizers, and providing quantities of alcohol and medical masks for distribution to male and female students after housing, explaining that the emphasis on technology units Information in all university campuses by reviewing all computers for operating the barcode system and reviewing those in charge of the Zahra system in that.

     
 
     

He pointed out that the restaurants’ preparations were emphasized by providing all the requirements required to receive the students upon their return and the readiness of restaurants and dining halls, and the continuity of the work of maintenance teams in shifts over the course of twenty-four hours, especially (electrical technicians - plumbing technicians).

He explained that the university cities sector at Ain Shams University is preparing to receive male and female students for the new academic year with a housing capacity distributed as follows: 1698 students in the university city are students in Abbasiya (for all faculties and academic teams), and 1850 female students in the university city are female students in Heliopolis and its external branches, and 475 students were accepted as a first stage.
