The Minister of Higher Education witnesses the graduation ceremony of the 2022 batch of students of the Faculty of Engineering

Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, yesterday evening, witnessed the ceremony organized by the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University; On the occasion of the graduation of the class of 2022, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Dr. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty, and Eng, Tarek Al-Nabrawi, Captain of the Engineers Syndicate.

The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Johansen Eid, President of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation of the Prime Minister, and Dr. Reem Al Kabariti, Director of the Alumni and Gentlemen Association. Vice Deans of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Sherif Hammad, the former Minister of Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, the former Minister and former President of Ain Shams University, Dr. Sayed Ismail, Deputy Minister of Housing for Infrastructure Affairs, Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs and Environmental Development, Dr. Amr Shoaib, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and a group of department heads and members of the university’s academic staff, at the headquarters of the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University.

At the beginning of his speech, the Minister congratulated the graduates, wishing them continued success and excellence in their working lives. To represent a strong addition to the labor market in the engineering field with its various specializations, thanking the family of Ain Shams University, the Faculty of Engineering, and parents for the care and support they provided to graduates throughout the study period.

     
 
     

Dr. Ashour stressed that the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University is one of the distinguished and prestigious Egyptian facultys; It includes a distinguished elite of professors, scientists and researchers, in addition to its distinguished departments in the field of engineering sciences, and its approach in managing the academic and training process in it, in which the latest standards of academic and training work are applied; Which qualifies its graduates to compete in the labor market.

The Minister pointed out that the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University is characterized by its keenness to improve the competitiveness of its infrastructure and information, and the continuous updating and development of its curricula and programs, many of which have been approved by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, and some of them are internationally accredited, as well as the faculty's involvement in international cooperation and partnerships. In the field of research, projects, student exchange, centers of excellence, and its constant quest to improve its international ranking.

Dr. Ashour called on graduates to develop their capabilities and skills, and to arm themselves with everything new in their fields of specialization, and not to break their connection with education and training or to identify new ones that benefit them in their work, stressing the need to expand cooperation between our academic institutions in general, and between state and community institutions active in various fields. business and service areas; To ensure that our universities play their desired role in serving the community.

On the other hand, Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini expressed his happiness at the return of the university’s graduation ceremonies again after the Corona pandemic, noting that the celebration of the graduation of a new batch of students from the Faculty of Engineering at the university means that we are facing a recurring scene of success and excellence, calling on the graduates to be ambassadors of the university through their participation in all development projects inside Egypt. and outside it, and to communicate with their faculty; To support them with all their experience and capabilities in various fields of engineering sciences.

On his part, Dr. Omar Al-Husseini indicated that this batch is number 67 since the establishment of the faculty under the name of the Faculty of Engineering, and that it is the first batch whose graduation is celebrated after the Corona pandemic, pointing out that the faculty is working to provide an outstanding educational service to prepare qualified graduates who are able to achieve the goals of their country in development and progress. He pointed out that the faculty witnessed an unprecedented rate of accreditation of its academic programs, as one of its programs was internationally accredited, the Architecture and Environmental Urbanization Program, and the Communications Engineering Program will soon join it, in addition to the faculty's keenness to link its academic education with the world of industry and business.
