Today, Wednesday, September 7, 2022, the internal coordination work at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, begins for new students and registers their desires for the departments of the faculty for the academic year 2022/2023, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Acting Dean of the Faculty, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
The internal coordination work will continue until Sunday, September 18, in the lower amphitheater in the faculty, according to the announced statements.
Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel explained that students accepted at the faculty for the academic year "2022/2023" are received and registered, and their number is 1285 male and female "regular" and 3110 male and female "affiliation", they are arranged alphabetically by 420 students per day with them, through 8 coordinating committees to manage student affairs at the faculty, in order to ensure compliance with the precautionary measures imposed by the university, due to the conditions of the “Corona” virus, in addition to providing all means of comfort for new students and preparing places to wait for parents.
The members of the medical center also conduct a medical examination for new students through the Ophthalmology and Al-Batinah Clinic, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Hendawi, Director of the Medical Affairs Department, and it is required to submit proof that the student has received the novel coronavirus vaccination, and those who did not receive any vaccination dose should go to Ain Shams University Hospitals, Heart Academy (fifth floor), the main center for vaccinations, which works all days of the week from nine in the morning until seven in the evening to receive the vaccination and obtain what is useful to submit to the medical center.
The Acting Dean of the Faculty confirmed that the names of the students and the steps for registering desires were announced on the guidance boards, as well as through the website and the faculty’s official page on the social networking site “Facebook”, noting that an information office had been equipped to guide students and receive their inquiries about coordination procedures. .
In addition to the presence of members of the Student Union at the faculty and their participation in receiving and guiding new students, under the supervision of the Youth Welfare Department and the participation of the various departments of the faculty until the completion of the registration procedures.
And “Kamel” clarified that the documents required for internal coordination are the high school certificate, original and copy, an electronic birth certificate with a triple number in the original and a photo, a copy of the personal card, the nomination card, original and photo, and 6 recent personal photos (4×6), a certificate of vaccination against Corona virus (at least the first dose, and those under 18 years of age are not vaccinated), and finally form (2 soldiers) and (7 soldiers) for males.
