The Young Talents Award from Africa ENI 2023 is to help new generations of African researchers emerge, to give them the opportunity to attend a PhD course in cooperation with prestigious Italian universities and research institutes and to support their research and innovation in various scientific topics promoted by the ENI Prize.

The thesis and curriculum vitae - which will prevail in the evaluation of the candidate - must be submitted as well as a research proposal relating to the main themes of the Eni Prize and highlighting the potential benefits of the proposal in a country, in an African region or on the entire African continent.

The main topics covered by the Eni Prize 2023 are: action against pollution of water, air and land, prevention of climate warming and pollution, rehabilitation and reuse of industrial sites; renewable energy and energy storage; Innovative use of hydrocarbons and energy efficiency as a bridge to decarbonize the energy system.
