In order to preserve the Faculty documents and archives, and facilitate the process of searching and finding them, which saves time and effort, and reduces the process of repetition and conflicting decisions, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, issued a decision to establish an independent unit for documents and archives to work on collecting Decisions issued by the various councils and university leaders since the establishment of the college in 1950, working to classify them, and create an electronic system that facilitates their retention and search.
The unit is mainly concerned with preserving agreements and cooperation protocols concluded with internal and international bodies, Faculty regulations and programs and the amendments made to them, decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities that are of interest to the Faculty, decisions of the University Council that are of interest to the Faculty, decisions of the Faculty Council, keeping the numbers of the Faculty newsletter, and keeping the work of conferences The Faculty, documenting and preserving the Faculty’s events and activities, keeping memorial photos and basic data about the Faculty’s deans, agents, department heads, center directors and faculty staff, keeping memorial photos and data about the Faculty professors and graduates who held leadership positions, and keeping memorial photos and data about the Faculty professors who won awards, And keep data and information on the number of Faculty students annually in the three divisions.
