18 Ain Shams University students completed their participation in the second workshop on innovation and entrepreneurship held in the People's Republic of China under the auspices of the Chinese government, the Khanban Foundation, the Southwest University of China and the Science Valley of Chongqing Province, which lasted from June 18 to July 5. Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel-Sayed, Director of the Confucius Center at Ain Shams University and head of the university delegation participating in the Innovation Workshop announced this.
She explained that the students had received an intensive program in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, which included lectures on product marketing, establishment of companies and how to register them, as well as in various Chinese handicrafts and tea making methods, by lecturers from the Chinese businessmen and the owners of the largest companies of the Science Valley and executives in the field of Marketing to a number of leading Chinese companies and professors specializing in entrepreneurship.
The students also made field tour visits in Zhongqing Province, as well as training in kungfu and bow.
The students presented three innovative projects, which won the admiration of the jury of seven experts from the Valley of Science. The Chairman of the Jury asked to adopt one of these projects and implement them on the ground by Egyptian-Chinese experiences.
