The birth of the Prophet Lessons and through... A symposium at Ain Shams University in the university's cultural season

Within the framework of the cultural season of Ain Shams University and the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday, the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector and the Education and Student Affairs Sector organized a symposium entitled “Birth of the Prophet ... Lessons and Through” under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President University President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and coordinating Prof. Dr. Jihan Ragab, Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Commerce and Advisor to the Vice President for Service Affairs 

Society and Environmental Development, under the supervision of Professor Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Reham Al-Atifi, Acting Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the organization of the students of the University Students’ Union and a family for Central Egypt led by family leader Dr. Hatem Rabie. 

         
   
         

The symposium was hosted by Sheikh Dr. Amr Al-Wardani, Secretary of the Fatwa and Head of the Marriage Guidance Unit at the Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta, and Professor Mahmoud Khalif, the religious vocalist, with the participation of an Arab Harmony Choir (Ain Shams University Choir) with a paragraph for religious chanting, led by Maestro Mahmoud Waheed. 

In his speech at the opening of the symposium welcomed Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, honored the attendees, congratulated everyone on the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday, and said that it is the most precious memory for the hearts of all Muslims in all parts of the earth, and despite their different customs and traditions by celebrating this occasion, they meet to mention the qualities and morals of the beloved. Mustafa on this great day. 

He also stressed the keenness of officials to renew religious discourse in a way that contributes to the support of Islamic and human civilization so that we can properly hand over the banner of this religion to future generations. 

   
   

She expressed Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, expressed her happiness to participate in this fragrant occasion in remembrance of the Prophet Muhammad, PBUH, so that our students can benefit from the steps and approach of the beloved Prophet, PBUH. 

Sheikh Dr. Amr Al-Wardani also addressed words to young people expressing the need to build knowledge by acquiring new wisdom or information every day to increase human chances in many things in life, such as getting a job, building friendships, or improving life in general. In addition, it is the best investment of free time, and people who learn new skills are the most successful in this world. 

         
   
         

He also talked about documenting the Prophet’s biography, many of which were mentioned in the Qur’an, and the harm that he, peace and blessings be upon him, faced in the cause of his call. He also mentioned what the polytheists used to call him magic and madness in the refutation of the religion of God Almighty. The Qur’an was exposed to the migration of the Messenger as well as the most important war battles that He fought after his emigration, so he talked about the battle of Badr, Uhud, the parties, the Hudaybiyah Peace Treaty, the conquest of Mecca, and the Battle of Hunayn. 

 

And he talked about some of his miracles, such as the miracle of the Night Journey and Al-Miraj, as well as many of the facts in the biography of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. The facts of the biography are considered the most correct source for biography. 

   
   

He added that contentment is a virtue granted by God Almighty to humanity in order to be able to continue life. Man is a rebellious nature resulting from his struggle with existence with its pillars to prove himself and to prove his control over life on the surface of this planet. 

And that existence is an inevitable predestination for every living being that possesses the characteristics of life, and the prerequisites for life and living on that planet are predestined for it, according to which it runs to prove the Self and fulfill its desires, the Self that is never satiated and is only restrained by contentment.

At the end of the symposium, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University, presented the university’s shield to Sheikh Dr. Amr Al-Wardani and the religious vocalist, Mr. Mahmoud Khalifa.
