The President of Ain Shams University meets the staff of the University's Career Center to present the results and achievements of the employment week

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, met with the work team of the Career center at the university to present the results and achievements of the employment week, which was held during 18, 19 and 20 October 2022.

The presentation began with Ms. Sama Singer, Executive Director of the Center, introducing the reasons and rationale behind choosing to hold this type of event based on a market study conducted with more than 200 companies.

Then, Engineer Reem Rahim, Deputy Director of the Center for Partnerships and Institutional Relations, presented the results of the event in terms of the numbers of participating companies, the number of students and graduates, comparing the budget of the event with the profits achieved, and the companies’ evaluation of the effectiveness, all of which exceeded the previously set goals, where 3500 students and graduates participated in the employment week Of the sons of the university, there are 37 companies.

         
   
         

Subsequently, Mr. Baher Amer, the Financial and Administrative Director, explained the steps that were coordinated with all the administrative and financial authorities at the university to ensure the smooth implementation of the event in accordance with the university's policies, as well as to ensure the smooth running of financial and administrative operations and the payment of suppliers' dues on the agreed dates.

Then, Engineer Mahmoud Atef, Director of Projects and Events, explained the event's logistics management, which was carried out in an orderly manner and with great success.

The career education team, which is managed by Ms. Farah Tarek, Deputy Director of the Center for Vocational Education, represented by Ms. Alaa Nair, a vocational training specialist, and Dr. Ola Sami, a vocational training specialist, explained the role of professional conversations and counseling and guidance circles and how they were among the new elements in such events and The extent of its usefulness and being one of the very attractive elements, whether for companies or students and university graduates, and they mentioned the role played by the volunteer team of Ain Shams University students under the management of Professor Ahmed Salah, the first professional training specialist, in terms of organization before and during the event and the registration process that went smoothly Their outstanding role was reflected in the assessment made by the companies, students and alumni of the university who attended.

     
 
     

Ms. Nourhan Sharif, a trainee in the E-Marketing Department, concluded the presentation by talking about her effective role in managing the communication pages before, during and after the event, which resulted in an increase in the number of participants in all social media platforms and noticeable increases in interaction

Dr. Ayman Farid, Director of the Center and Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Employment, said after the end of the presentation that the employment week is not the only employment event organized by the university, as the employment forum is also organized in March of each year, which puts Ain Shams University in foreground.

     
 
     

Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini stressed the importance of studying the extent of students' interaction with this type of activities and working on more progress in this field.
