Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Popular and Military Defense Forces, organized a visit for university students to the naval base in Alexandria, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Meteini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Colonel Ahmed Najm, Director of the Military Education Department at the university.
This is the belief of the education sector and students of Ain Shams University in the importance of standing on what has been accomplished within the Egyptian state, as well as conveying the true picture from the ground, and this is thanks to the permanent directives of the political leadership of the Egyptian state to raise the level of naval armament according to the highest level of quality and proficiency, reflecting the greatness of the state Egyptian.
The visit comes within the framework of the interest of the education sector and students in field visits to university students, where the recommendations of Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, stressed the importance of knowing our armed forces and the extent of development that they have achieved, through which they maintain their progress and their position as a safe shield for the homeland, and an emphasis on the role of the university in implementing the state’s strategy in integrating students and youth to learn about state projects and armaments, enhancing and developing national awareness and strengthening the bonds of connection with the valiant Egyptian Armed Forces and the Navy, as the visit included a symposium on the role of the Navy through showing a documentary film that included the stages of the development of the Navy in the modern era, which included the opening of the July 3 Naval Base, and a visit to some of the joining units. A recent visit to the naval base in Alexandria, as well as a visit to the ship repair and launch hangar.
The ceremonial officer of the naval forces accompanied the university students on an introductory tour and a dialogue about the naval forces and the maritime borders of Egypt, and some memorial photos were taken.
