The Training Unit at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, organized a workshop today entitled (Watercolors), under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Farag, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and the supervision of Dr. Abdel Rahman Shawky, Director of the Training and Skills Development Unit, with a lecture by Dr. Rania Youssef Al-Melehi, Assistant Professor, Department of Art Education.
The workshop began with a theoretical lecture in which Dr. Rania about watercolors, their features, advantages and disadvantages, the tools used in drawing, and the formative capabilities of watercolor materials, explaining that there is more than one type of color, such as watercolors that are used when we want to make quick and inexpensive sketches, and cotton paper is used to paint on it with watercolors to avoid watercolors damage to the paper, then the practical side began with the students to implement what they learned during the lecture.
