Within the framework of the presidential initiative "A Decent Life", the convoy of Ain Shams Medical University was launched to Fayoum Governorate, which is organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector in cooperation with Fayoum Governorate, under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ansari, Governor of Fayoum, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Ghada Farouk, acting as Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and general supervision, Prof. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, supervised by Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Sector Affairs.
The activities of the first day of the convoy included the visit of Dr. Mohamed Emad, Deputy Governor of Fayoum, to the convoy headquarters at the Teachers Syndicate, where he was received by Mr. Suhail Hamza, Secretary of Ain Shams University, Assistant Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development Sector.
Together, they toured the work of the convoy, which witnessed a great turnout for the various clinics that provided medical services to citizens free of charge through the clinics of the heart, children, as well as chest, ophthalmology, bone, nose, ear, and skin, in addition to measuring pressure, diabetes, nursing, and dispensing medicines for free from the convoy pharmacy in cooperation between the two faculties of medicine. and Nursing at Ain Shams University.
It is scheduled that the work of the medical convoy of Ain Shams University will continue until tomorrow, Thursday, in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development and Egypt's vision 2030.
