Ain Shams Vice President for Education and Students receives a high-ranking delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Faculty of Al-Alsun

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, received a high-ranking delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by His Excellency Minister Plenipotentiary Tamer Hammad, in the presence of Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, at the faculty’s headquarters, with the aim of discussing cooperation mechanisms between the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ain Shams University, represented by the Faculty of Al-Alsun.

During the visit, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, and Prof. Salwa Rashad accompanied the delegation on a tour of the electronic examination halls, which can accommodate 760 examinees, with the aim of examining the preparations of the Faculty of Al-Alsun to host some of the tests conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its employees.

During the tour, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, said that Ain Shams University has witnessed during the past few years a comprehensive boom in infrastructure and its development according to the international level, indicating that Ain Shams University has electronic examination halls in the Faculty of Al-Alsun and the Faculty of Medicine that qualifies it to boast of its counterparts from international universities in the level.

         
   
         

He continued his speech, pointing out that the university administration is keen to activate partnerships with various national and international institutions to meet their needs to hold such exams in Ain Shams University.

For her part, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, declared the readiness of all electronic and regular halls to receive all tests from local and international institutions. Cooperation has already been made with international institutions to conduct electronic tests in the Faculty halls, including the IELTS test of the British Council in Cairo, in addition to the Japanese language proficiency test in cooperation with the Japan Education Foundation and also a Korean language proficiency test.

Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, said that the university administration spares no effort in providing all the capabilities needed by all international institutions to hold their exams in the Faculty campus in accordance with the highest international quality standards.

For his part, His Excellency the Minister Plenipotentiary, Tamer Hammad, expressed his admiration for the capabilities possessed by the ancient institution of Ain Shams University, praising the extent of equipment provided by the Faculty of Al-Alsun to serve civil society, in addition to its internationally prestigious academic role.
