The activities of Ain Shams University's visit to the Association of Veterans and War Victims, a story entitled The Will of a Warrior

Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Ain Shams University organized a field visit in cooperation with the Veterans and War Victims Association, led and supervised by Major General Ashraf Mohamed Ahmed Sharif, Director of the Veterans and War Victims Association, in which Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Prof. Osama El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Prof. Gehan Ragab, Advisor to the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and coordinator of the visit, prof. Dr.. Samia Abdo, Deputy Executive Director of Hospitals and Director of Infection Control at Ain Shams University, Prof. Hayam Tantawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Ahmed Dehom, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Alaa Abdel Hakim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dina Abu Zaid, Director of the Media Center of the University, and Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and supervisor of the visit.

         
   
         

The visit aimed to get acquainted with the entity and the greatness of the Veterans and War Victims Association, through which all means of care (social, sports and cultural) are provided for the victims of operations and the families of martyrs and members of the association. It is a huge military edifice since the Palestine war that preserves the heritage of Egyptian culture that is capable of challenge, will and victory.

The association offers many activities that help them to adapt to society after exposure to injury resulting from wars, including an art exhibition of handicrafts, a sports complex, and its clear achievements in basketball, table tennis, badminton, swimming and weightlifting.

     
 
     

The cultural center also has some recreational activities such as backgammon, chess, video games, reading, drawing and music practice.

Medical care is also available for the injured of war operations, prosthetics and dialysis, in addition to many subsidies, aids and cultural seminars to maximize the role of science and honor the outstanding from the families of the martyrs. ideals.
