Under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, hosts the forty-ninth annual international conference of the Association of Egyptian Scientists in America and Canada (AEAS), from December 27 to 29, 2022, in the presence of Ambassador Soha El-Gendy, Minister of Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad.
The conference is chaired by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting as Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development (co-chair from Egypt from Ain Shams University), and Professor Mohamed Atallah from the Association of Egyptian Scientists in America and Canada (AEAS).
Also participating in the conference are Ambassador Howaida Essam, Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in New York, Prof. Dr. Ali Masoud, Cultural Counselor in the United States of America, Dr. Rami Galal, member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Shaalan, former head of the National Research Center and general supervisor of the scientific journal at the National Center for research.
The organization of the forty-ninth annual international conference of the Association of Egyptian Scientists in America and Canada comes as part of the ongoing activity on climate change, global health and sustainable development in all scientific fields, major challenges facing humanity. The conference discusses six axes; They are cybersecurity and digital transformation, climate change, energy conservation and renewable energy, higher education and scientific research development, public health and medical sciences, manufacturing and smart industries, and sustainable development.
It is worth noting that the Association of Egyptian Scientists in America and Canada (AEAS) was founded in 1973, and its mission is to create a forum for Egyptian scholars in North America to facilitate dialogue and foster partnerships with their Egyptian counterparts to implement beneficial scientific endeavors. Over the past 48 years, the Association of Egyptian Scientists has contributed in America and Canada significantly, through its annual conferences and other means, in the scientific and cultural development of Egypt, and over the years, the League interacted with its various counterparts in Egypt and contributed to various scholarly and scholarly activities.
The research will be published after additional review in the Journal of the National Research Center.
