The President of Ain Shams University honors the winning university team in the competition of the National Organization for Urban Harmony to represent the Egyptian pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, at the University Council, honored the winning team of Ain Shams University in the competition put forward by the National Organization for Urban Harmony, headed by Eng. "Mohamed Abu Saada", to choose the best ideas for architecture projects, to participate in the Venice International Architecture Biennale in its eighteenth session, which is held from May to November 2023 in Venice, Italy, representing the Egyptian Pavilion.

Where Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini congratulated the team, which includes Prof. Ghada Farouk Hassan, Acting Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Ahmed Sami Abdel Rahman, Prof. Rosa Marina Tornatora, Prof. Ottavio Salvatore Amaro, and Mr. Moataz Samir Hassan.

The winning project under the name "Nile Laboratory", given that the Nile combines the past, present and future, and aims to collect, diversify and cooperate. The idea of ​​the project was implemented by dual degree students from some programs of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University in cooperation with the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria.

The Minister of Culture, Dr. Neven El-Kelany, announced the winning project to participate in the Venice International Architecture Biennale in a ceremony attended by Prof. Ghada Farouk, acting as Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, where Her Excellency honored the team and handed it certificates of appreciation.
