Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rola Milad Labib, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector organized the fifth lecture within the activities of the cultural season.
It was delivered by Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Badawi Sengab, Professor of Pharmacology, at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research (former) Ain Shams University, entitled (The Role of Pharmaceutical Nutrients in the Health Care System), during which he explained the importance of nutrients to ensure human health as they build and repair body tissues and it regulates its vital processes, in addition to its effective role in treating many diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. His Excellency also explained that there are two main types of nutrients, which are traditional nutrients, which include nutritional supplements, in addition to non-traditional nutrients, which include fortified and combined nutrients.
