The participation of representatives of sister Arab countries in the ceremony honoring foreign students at the Faculty of Education

The Office of Communication and Cooperation at the Faculty of Education at Ain Shams University organized an honoring ceremony for foreign students, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service Affairs and Environmental Development, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Director of the University's International Relations Office, Prof. Dr. Sherawat Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Expatriate Department at the University, Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Rashad, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Safaa Shehata, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Halim Farag, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Hanan Helmy Latif, Director of the Office of Communication and International Cooperation and Coordinator of the Expatriate Department at the Faculty of Education at the University.

With the participation of representatives, ambassadors, and students from the countries of Sudan - South Sudan - Kuwait – the United Arab Emirates - Palestine - Syria.

         
   
         

In his speech during the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashed attended the audience from the brotherly Arab countries, stressing that this fruitful cultural gathering and cooperation has always been witnessed and experienced during his study trip at Ain Shams University, and this cultural diversity and communication is what gave Ain Shams University this status.

He pointed out that this celebration is only a symbolic expression of the cultural and intellectual communication between the Arab peoples and the great interest of Ain Shams University in foreign students.

Prof. Dr. Hazem Rashid, thanks for all the efforts made to celebrate the faculty students from the sister Arab countries.

A film was shown to introduce the "Study in Egypt" initiative and the various academic stages of the initiative launched by the university.

The Ambassador of the State of South Sudan to Egypt, Dr. Joseph Majak, delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks to Egypt, represented by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to the brotherly people of Egypt and to the brothers in the Arab world for their continuous support for the fruitful and continuous scientific and student exchange.

         
   
         

As emphasized in her speech, Dr. Iman Al-Hosani, the artistic and cultural attaché of the United Arab Emirates, said that Ain Shams University has always been a shrine for the first science that embraces all students from all parts of the world, noting that the convergence of cultures witnessed by the faculty is keen on by the wise government of Egypt, stressing that Egypt and its Arab brothers are able to reach a sustainable education wishing everyone success at the end of her speech.

The Sudanese cultural attaché Prof. Dr. Mortada Ali Othman expressed his pride in being present at Ain Shams University, which is considered one of the most prestigious universities in the world, and which was the cradle of science and culture. He extended his thanks and appreciation to the President of Ain Shams University, Professor Dr. Hazem Rashid congratulated them on the new academic year, wishing them success.

And the President of the National Union of Students of the State of Syria Dr. Abdullah Junaid expressed his joy on this day when the graduates of the Faculty of Education exchange congratulations in the vicinity of Ain Shams University, from which students draw knowledge and knowledge explodes from their sides.

The cultural attaché of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Rajan, thanked the dean of the Faculty, the vice-deans, and the ambassadors from the sister countries, explaining that the expatriate students have left their homes to seek knowledge, explaining that the Faculty of Education, with its educators and specialists, is used by students to feel reassured and join it and study under its umbrella.

Dr. Salim Al-Talouli, responsible for universities and student activities at the Embassy of Palestine, confirmed that Egypt is not their second homeland, but rather their homeland and their first home, expressing the highest meanings of thanks and gratitude to Egypt as president and people, Dr. Salim Al-Talouli commend for the huge attention that Ain Shams University attaches to foreign students and the follow-up and care of these students.

At the end of the ceremony, representatives of sister countries and graduate students were awarded shields and certificates of appreciation in honor of their distinction.
