For the ninth year... the Faculty of Pharmacy organizes the Essential Oils Exhibition

The Department of Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, organized the “Essential Oils Exhibition” for the ninth year in a row, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Amani Osama, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and under the supervision of Prof. Omaima Al-Dahshan - Head of the Pharmacology Department and Founder of the Exhibition; In the presence of Prof. Abdel Nasser Sengab, former vice president of the university, Prof. Rehab Othman, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Khaled Abu Shanab, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Rola Milad, Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University, stated that the annual exhibition of essential oils this year is characterized by the transfer of third-year students from the scope of theoretical study to the practical application of various scientific and practical skills, as students work in groups, which increases work experience and teamwork, and they are asked through this Cooperation Making posters and flyers about essential oils treated for selected diseases and manufacturing therapeutic and preventive marketing products by using all that students have studied in previous years and translating it into natural products in an attractive and fun way, which increases their sense of creativity and their ability to present their products, and students from different groups compete every year to present what is Always the best and win over their peers and get various valuable prizes presented by the Department of Drugs annually to the winning groups.

Prof. Omaima Al-Dahshan, Head of the Pharmacology Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, expressed her gratitude for all the elements that contributed to the success of the work, emphasizing the importance of student activity in producing fruitful information, experience and industry.
