Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and supervised by Dr. Islam Hegazy, Executive Director of the Networks and Information Technology Center, the Shams Unit organized a workshop on the Shams electronic archive system.
The lecture was presented by Engineer Mahmoud Ramadan, Director of the Shams Unit, in cooperation with Engineer Ahmed Attia, Engineer Mahmoud Abdel Dayem, and Engineer Amjad Sobhi, where the unit work team was keen to explain how to use the electronic archive system to archive all internal correspondence at the university.
The unit's work team confirmed that this system is effective in communicating with all departments and sectors of the university electronically, expressing its readiness to communicate with employees in the event that they encounter a problem while working on the system, as a WhatsApp group was created to facilitate the process of communication and inquiries.
For his part, Dr. Islam Hegazy confirmed that this workshop targeted a number of employees in the various faculties, departments and sectors of the university, indicating that it comes within the framework of a series of workshops organized by the center with the aim of supporting digital transformation steps, in implementation of the directives of the university leadership.
The attendees praised the importance of the system and their willingness to start working with it, noting that the work team at the Shams unit confirmed its readiness to cooperate, clarify any information and solve any problem that employees might encounter during work.
