The Faculty of Al-Alsun hosts a workshop organized by the University's Postgraduate Studies Sector in cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and the Elsevier Publishing House on scientific publishing in the field of languages and literature

The Faculty of Al-Alsun hosted a workshop organized by the Graduate Studies and Research Sector at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and the Elsevier Publishing House, on scientific publishing in the fields of languages and literature, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, supervised by Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, during which Mr. Khaled Shaalan, responsible for modern research methods at Elsevier Publishing House, gave a lecture.

During his inaugural speech, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, said that in light of the university's directives to implement its plan to promote international publishing in the field of humanities and social sciences, it has become obligatory for postgraduate researchers, faculty staff, and teaching assistants to publish their scientific production in journals listed in international indexes. The internationalization of research has become today one of the most important priorities of the postgraduate studies and research sector and aims to raise the international ranking of the university.

         
   
         

The workshop included an introduction to peer-reviewed scientific publishing, where the steps for publishing in various scientific journals were presented, and the stages of research acceptance, with a presentation of the most important needs of scientific journals for the acceptance of research, as well as presenting the most important points that must be available in research to facilitate its acceptance in scientific journals.

The workshop also included a full explanation of the most important electronic search engines and websites that include and present reliable scientific research, with an explanation of the differences between each platform and the differences in the scientific research it contains.
