The Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts meets with members of the New Students Union for the academic year 2022/2023

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts, met with the new faculty-student union for the academic year 2022/2023 and congratulated them.

The meeting discussed the proposed plan and the union’s vision throughout the academic year 2022/2023, approving the union’s program and plan, discussing the rules governing student activities, and the services provided by the faculty administration. The union’s resources, the draft budget, and proposals for each of the union’s committees were also discussed.

         
   
         

The meeting was held in the presence of Mrs. Nemat Khalifa, Director of the Youth Welfare Department, and all the students of the Union, headed by the student Helmy Ahmed, the President of the Union, and his deputy, the student Walaa Tayseer Abdel Hafeez.

Prof. Dr. Hanan Kamel confirmed the importance of the role of the Faculty Students Union in representing students and expressing them and their needs, in addition to organizing student activities of all kinds, scientific, cultural, sports and entertainment.

And she emphasized the keenness of the faculty to provide all aspects of support and assistance to all serious and purposeful student activities, and called on the members of the union to perform their role to the fullest extent as they are the link between their colleagues and the faculty administration and then with university leaders, and also asked them to participate in developing proposals and solutions to problems that may face students.

She also expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Student Union for last year's efforts for their efforts during the past academic year.

     
 
     

The Dean of the Faculty concluded the meeting by inviting the new faculty students' union to work diligently in order to fulfill their responsibilities and serve their colleagues in an optimal manner and represent the faculty in all forums and activities in an honorable manner in a manner befitting the status of the faculty and its ancient history, as Dr. Hanan Kamel said that the students' exercise of these roles in the union is a prelude to their participation in public work and their assumption of leadership positions in the future.
