Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, deputized Dr. Abeer Al Shater, Professor of Urban Design and Urban Morphology, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs.

It is worth noting that Dr. Abeer Al-Shater obtained her PhD from Ain Shams University, lectured at many local and international universities, and supervised many theses in Egypt and abroad.

She also occupied many scientific and administrative positions, including an advisor to the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and an expert in the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority. Ain Shams, an international reviewer, deputy editor-in-chief and editor in many international scientific journals.

Dr. Abeer Al-Shater has received many awards in publishing, scientific arbitration, and design of public spaces. She has also contributed to the authoring and editing of many scientific books in the field of urban design issued by international publishing houses. Her scientific research has exceeded more than 130 scientific research papers in major international publishing houses alone. In partnership with local and international researchers, she chaired and arbitrated many funded research projects. She has extensive experience in preparing technical reports, master plans and research projects in the field of urban design, higher education policies and scientific research.
